The demie (demi-bouteille) is the half bottle of Champagne, 37.5 cl.1

In the range

On the Comité Champagne list of formats it comes between the quart (20 cl) and the bouteille (75 cl).1 Champagne in this format must be sold in the bottle in which the prise de mousse took place (same-bottle rule).2 It is the smallest format that must stay in its original bottle.
